Your list is something that you control, you can market anything you want to your list. It could be affiliate products or even your business. This is essential to remember, most will say no to your primary business, but they may be interested in something else that you have. If you just throw away the lead on your list after they say no, you are losing 95% of your business.

The other great thing about having a list, especially on an auto responder, is this can be on total auto-pilot. Someone opts into your list. That person starts to receive your series of e-mail, they could buy something that you are promoting in an e-mail. This allows you to be making commissions while you are spending time with your family and friends, or even while you are sleeping.

Although having a huge list is great, it is not the key to making money. You must have built a relationship with the people on that list. You must remember people like to buy things from people they like.

This easiest way to build a relationship with those on your list is to focus on filling their needs and solving their problems. This is about those one your list not you. Find out what is important to them and what is their biggest problem. This allows you to offer them solutions and give them what they want. Once you do this your list will be very responsive and be willing to buy from you.

If you build a list, build a relationship with your list, and monetize it your list, then your list will be the most valuable thing you will ever own. This is even more valuable than gold, a house, or a car. It will give you so much power and independence.
