For me, I get a lot of my content from My Lead System Pro (MLSP). You can go watch a training and pick out some great nuggets of information and write a blog post around that nugget that you got. I do this all the time. If I am having a hard time thinking about what to write about, I watch a training and have numerous things to write about.

You may have heard of WordPress.com or blogger, and since they are free this is a great place to build your blog.

One problem you may find if you use one of the free blogging platforms for your blog. Let’s say you get up a blog. You are producing leads, and having people joining your company. Then the owners (WordPress.com or Google for Blogger) decide that they do not like your content (is marketing is considered commerical, a marketing blog are against their rules). So, t shut down your blog. All your hard work is gone. In addition, your business will come to stand still, and you will have to find a new way to market.

It is best to start by hosting your own blog, and you have none of this to worry about. To own a blog, it is very inexpensive, and you own all your content. You are looking at around $10 per year for your domain and about $10 per month for hosting. it is super inexpensive to host your own blog. I use Hostgator to host this blog.

Why To Use WordPress?

There are many different blogging platforms available. Here are a few reasons to use WordPress. One reason it is easy to set up and use. You can set it up with a click of a button, and it is every easy to use. With WordPress, being so popular you can easily find thousands of plugins themes to help you customize it and have a look you like. Your WordPress blog can grow with you if you decide to branch out into something different.

The main reason is that WordPress is very easy to setup and use. You do not need to know a lot of technical stuff to use WordPress.

A blog is great to for social media, and it goes nicely with Facebook, Twitter, Youtube. You can use plugins that integrate your WordPress blog with these social networks. In addition, a blog is not threatening like a capture page. A reader can come to your blog and find out more information about you, your team, your company, and your services.

In addition, if you get leads from your blog, they are going to be much more qualified as they know who you are already and more about you and your company. So they are going to be much more open to you when you do contact them.
