In the set-up video I mentioned the importance of an auto-responder. When I first started network marketing and heard auto-responder, I was not sure what it was. An auto-responder is a tool or program you can use (normally around $20/month), that allows you stay in touch with people who join your list.

You can also set-up a number of e-mails to be sent automatically to anyone who signs up for your list. These can be sent out over a number of days or weeks, usually at one e-mail per day. This saves you a lot of time.

You can also send out an e-mail to everyone on your list at anytime you wish (this is called a broadcast or newsletter). This is most powerful function of a auto-responder.

This is an invaluable tool to a marketer, as people join your list and you build a relationship with that person, he or she is going to be interested in what you are saying. So when you send them an e-mail, they will read it.

If you find a affiliate product you like, you send your list an e-mail from your auto-responder, when they buy it you will make a commission. If in the future you change your network marketing company, let your list know, BAM, you already have sign ups. This is how all the heavy hitters in this industry can join a company one day and the next be one of the top producers in that company.

Relationship is the key here and an auto-responder can help you build that relationship.
